Northern Tours - Hanoi Highlights

Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi - Arrival (-/-/D)
Welcome upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport and transfer to the
hotel in Hanoi for check in. After refreshing yourself, enjoy a welcome
dinner at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi at a
hotel category of your choice.
Day 2: Hanoi
– City tour (B/L/-)
After an American Breakfast at the hotel, you will start a full day city
tour of Hanoi. Discover the charm of Vietnam’s capital city with its
tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, beautiful temples and
peaceful lakes in contrast with the streets’ animation. You will visit the
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the one pillar pagoda, the famous Temple of
Literature. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to visit one of the most
famous museums in Hanoi, visit Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son Temple and
enjoy a 1 hour cyclo tour around the old quarter. In the evening, attend a
performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at
Thang Long theater. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Ha Long - Hanoi (B/L/-)
After breakfast, transfer by road to Ha Long bay (165 km East of Hanoi),
listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon
descending to the sea” as it is known in Vietnamese legend, picturesque
Halong Bay has more than 3000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many
of them containing beautiful grottoes. Cruise in a private wooden Chinese
junk for 5 hours on the emerald green waters of Ha Long bay, among the
numerous limestone islands, while enjoying a fresh seafood lunch. Visit
the caves and climb up to the top of a limestone island to enjoy a
panoramic view of the bay. Relax on the sun deck or take a swim in the
crystal waters. Disembark in the late afternoon and drive back to Hanoi.
Accommodation in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Departure (B/-/-)
Breakfast at the hotel. Time at leisure until transfer to the airport for
departure.

tour to Dien Bien Phu. Includes an overnight stay at Dien Bien Phu.
Hanoi - Sapa
3 days & 2 nights tour to Sapa. Pick-up is
at Hanoi then transfer to the railway station. Overnight trip to Lao Cai
and continue on to Sapa. Visit bordering villages and return to Hanoi for
departure.
